It brings together over 25 actors with interest in parliament with a view of facilitating engagement, cross learning, peer sharing and providing a linkage and technical support between the civil society sector and Parliament.

CSPEN Engagement with the Senate.

On July 3, 2023, a delegation of CSPEN members, including representatives from Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD) -Kenya, Mzalendo Trust, Transparency International Kenya, and others, engaged with the Senate Liaison office to explore avenues for implementing initiatives and measures aimed at fostering transparency and accountability within the Parliament.

The Deputy Clerk, Ms. Eunice Gichangi underscored the need for partnership between the two entities and urged the members to give a useful critique of the legislation at Senate.
