Bridging the gap between the Senate, Parliament and the people.

It brings together over 25 actors with interest in parliament with a view of facilitating engagement, cross learning, peer sharing and providing a linkage and technical support between the civil society sector and Parliament.

Thematic Areas

In carrying out its mandate and in line with the objectives stipulated above, the following are envisaged as the key entry points for engagement between the members: 

  • Convening Joint Public Participation Forums on key legislative issues;
  • Research and thought leadership from CSOs for Parliament, Committees and Caucuses on key legal and policy issues;
  • Capacity Building for Members and Parliamentary Staff;
  • Monitoring and tracking legislative development, implementation and impact;
  • Media, Advocacy and Outreach on key issues.
